It seems to be pretty well documented that if you are not a fan of good service with a good attitude, go to any Pick n Pay. Honestly, I get shocked when a Pick n Pay staff member gives GOOD service AND is pleasant!
But evidently that is a Pick n Pay issue as I have been "lucky" enough to be acquainted with them country-wide.
But Pick n Pay Craighall takes the cake; to the point where it is the most convenient but I'd actually rather make a detour and pay a little extra at Woolies and get good service.
The ladies in the food department are consistently in a bad mood, and half the time they have no clue how much the food costs or what the food is at certain times. As i usually leave work late, I constantly go there to buy supper and kudos to them for consistency. It is admirable how committed they are to their bad service - I say this also having gone there to get lunch at times as well. On Monday 25/11/13, I bought their Eisbein, and simply gave up after getting home and realising that it was off.
Pick n Pay Craighall won't be seeing me again as a result of their admirable commitment to bad service. Can't say it was good, but one has to give credit where credit is due.
