I go to the Dis-chem in the Verdi Centre on a monthly basis in order to purchase all the necessities for our toiletry and household needs. It should be noted that every month I purchase a large amount of products for a substantial amount. I was in search of Men's skincare products which I purchase for my husband. There was NO stock of the brand in question on the shelves, so I went to customer care, who quickly called the employee on duty for this section. I explained to him what I was looking for and expressed my concern that their shelves are not very well stocked. Instead of an apology and resolution, this staff member simply responded with; "Come back on Friday." He was abrupt, rude and unhelpful. Surely this is not the type of customer service which is deemed appropriate? I responded by leaving the products I was planning on purchasing in the basket and left. I will NOT be returning to this branch, as this bad attitude is really unnecessary. Had the staff member in question advised that stock would only be in on Friday in a professional and friendly manner, that is another story. But this poor service has really put me off!
