I saw the Blue Russel Hobs Kettle on the shelf with a shop soiled box & when I opened the box to check the colour it came to my attention that the kettle had a few marks on it, indicating that it was scuffed.
When Iasked at the Cust. Service desk whether I could buy the kettle but at a decreased price (R650), I was told that it is against the company policy which is acceptable. My response was that I don't want a new one which they offered, but this one and that I don't mind the "marks", the lady in charge of customer service - Rethabile "Mareta" simply would not said no, with no sign of maybe calling the next inline or higher authority to clear the matter.
When I then ask why it is that a 'soiled' item is on the shelf and that I am going to complain in this regard, her attitude changes and she writes her name without further addue. When I state to her that I am going to file a complaint on Hellopeter.com and I would like her surname as well, she flat-out ignores me (after several attempts). I requested to see the branch manager, she phd. someone but I realised it would be better to leave & raise this issue with the correct person.
A Cust. Serv. Mnger who turns the head away???
