Very dissapointed

Last Monday morning, 20th Jan I went to the Woolworths Blue Route branch and applied for an account.
I have had an account previously with Woolworths and paid it off and closed it so thought I could re-open however I was advised need to complete the entire application procedure again which is understandable.
I completed the forms and gave it to the lady behind the counter, who said it would be processed within 3-4 days.
On the 23rd I sent an enquiry to customer services, an automated response was received and an email then received on the following day asking me for my ID number... I emailed it back to [Email Removed] still nothing heard back.
I then got fed up and went in-store on Saturday to the same counter where I provided my application (Blue Route, customer services). The lady that I spoke to had no idea where my application was or what was going on... she could not see anything on the system.

It is now 1 week later!

I am just so dissapointed with the service I have received. When I think of Woolworths I expect good customer service.. what has happened?!
