Uncomfortable Free Mattress

I bought a bedroom suite from Coricraft at Clearwater Mall on the 23 November 2013, I received a queen mattress for free with the bedroom suite, the mattress is called a Siesta. The mattress slept comfortably the mattress was comfortable the first couple of days, thereafter it became uncomfortable. We even turned it around, but it didn't help. I phoned Coricraft Head Office at 011 611 8700 and I was directed to a Claudette Van Logernberg, I explained to her that the mattress was becoming uncomfortable and we were waking up with sore backs. She then told me that she will have to contact the supplier who makes the mattress which is only opening next week 15/01/2014 and ask them to come out and do an assessment on the mattress to check for defaults. If they do find a default they will replace it and if they don't there they cant take it back. I then asked her what the life expectancy life is for the mattress and she said 8 years, I said to her 8 years compared to one month is a huge difference. I find her response to my complaint unacceptable. I also know that I'm not the first and only customer to complain about the quality of the mattress.
