Wrongful Accusation of

On Sunday, 20 October 2013 between 11:30 and 12:00 my mother made purchases at Clicks Kenilworth Centre accompanied by 2 minors. She left the store to realise that she had forgotten a few items and turned back. Upon re-entering the store, the security guard followed her around. When she arrived at the pay point to pay for her second purchases, the security guard reached across her and picked up a box on the counter and proceeded to accuse her of wanting to the item. He informed her that she would need to come with him to see the manager of the store. They searched her, checked her till slips and told her that she needed to pay for the " item" She left with none of the goods she had purchased and they took her money (R500). I have contacted the regional manager approximately 3 weeks ago and he said he would get back to me as soon as his investigation was finalised. The last time we spoke was Thursday, 07 Npvember 2013 and i have heard nothing from you as yet. i consider this a serious matter and the manner in which my mother was treated is unacceptable. The incident took place nearly 4 weeks ago and i have had no correspondence. I find this very concerning.
