My mother recently had a back operation, and this was the first time she had been out shopping in months. Upon entering Zara, the security guard told us that no trolleys were allowed. We tried to explain that my mother had a bad back and needed the trolley for support - no problem in any other store. The guard proceeded to call the manager, who, in a very unfriendly and unaccomodating manner, told us it was store policy, and then turned her back with blatant disregard. She was not even interested in hearing the reasoning behind our request. I was about to buy a rather expensive (and come to think of it, overpriced, jacket), but very quickly placed the item down and continued onto other shops that are much friendlier and more accommodating to shopper's needs. I sadly won't be supporting Zara in future.
