Recently bought Crinkley milk which was on special at P&P. Got it home and loved it, so rich and creamy, with a realy nice taste, but still 2% fat content. On our next shop we changed from our usual P&P own brand milk, to Crinkley, which had the added bonus of a 50% longer shelf life. Stocked up the freezer, and felt realy pleased with ourselves.
This turned out to be a bad move. We put our milk straight into the freezer on our return home, and proceeded to use it as we have always done, IE ---- take from the freezer to defrost at room temp when needed, just before last bottle runs out.
Every single bottle we bought turned sour within 24hrs of defrosting. At first we thought we had just got a bad bottle, but by the time we had opened 5 bottles, and had them ALL turn bad before we had a chance to use them, we knew there was a problem.
This is very disapointing. We love the taste. Although we dont like the fact that the 2lt bottles are awkward to handle and pour with no handle. But we ended up defrosting the rest and drinking them as soon as they defrosted, so as not to waste them, having thrown the first 5 away. VERY DISAPOINTED.4302035206180
