What a slap in the face!

I had purchased a pack of long life milf from PNP (their own brand) for approximately R60 (which is no alot of money). However, when i got home my wife needed the milk and immediately opened a bottle to use and discovered that it was completely sour. I verified this and was totally surprised that the expiration date was well into the future but this milk had gone off.

As a result, since my wife needed milk urgently i then rushed off to the nearest shop to purchase a bottle of milk as the the milk i purchased from PNP was sour. When I contacted the customer services call centre and expressed my dissatisfaction and anger on the major inconvenience this had caused me he was really very nice and assured me that this will be investigated and i will receive feedback on this matter.

Weeks later i received a letter in the post apologising for the incident and as a token for the inconvenience caused PNP would award me smart shopper points to the value of R10.

Totally disgusted and shocked i could not believe my eyes. After the cost of my call, petrol money, time PNP felt that R10 would make me feel so much better.

Thanks PNP, the R10 was worth less than the paper & envelope.
