I bought a Microsoft office from Dions wired in Centurion on 10th May 2013. When I got home I noticed I purchased the Microsoft office for University students. I returned the item on to Dions for a refund or an exchange, as I am not a student and therefore wont be able to use the program. They advised they do not refund or exchange on Microsoft products. Even though it was never used. They advised I phone Microsoft on 0860225567. Which I did today and Microsoft advised it is not their responsibility I must go back to the retailer. It is very clear DIONS WIRED CENTURION LIFESTYLE CENTRE is not going to assist me. So in other words the consumer protection act is only applicable on products when it suits the retailer.
