My dad bought me Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010 on Friday 8 February 2013. I installed the software, activate it, but I don't know if activating the software is the same as registering the software. I wanted to allocate my personal details with my product but there's no links to do that anywhere on microsoft site.
I am supposed to be entitled to a FREE version of Office 2013 as I bought Office 2010 within the offer period. When I click the link, it gives me an error:
"
We found a problem.
We're sorry, Office (32-bit) couldn't be installed because 64-bit Office programs are already installed on your computer:
Microsoft Office Single Image 2010
Microsoft Office Office 32-bit COmponents 2010
If you need 32-bit office, please uninstall the above programs first. Otherwise, we recommend installing the 64-bit version of Office instead. "
I am currently running Windows 7 on a 64-bit OS. I have a legal version of Office 2010.
What does the error mean? WHO CAN HELP ME? I do not want to lose out on what I'm entitled to: FREE Office 2013
