I bought Microsoft Office 2010 Professional a few years back. I recently bought a new desktop PC and upgraded to Windows 8 Professional from Windows 7 Professional. When I tried to re-install Office 2010, I got the message "Product key invalid."
I have tried to contact Microsoft via the web numerous times now, to report my problem. I have been shunted from screen to screen, eventually ending up at a screen which says I have to pay R720 (? $90) for a solution. It would seem that Microsoft is making the reporting of problems as difficult as they can in order to not have to solve problems like this. Maybe someone has a better idea for me to get into contact with them or to sort out this problem. I would appreciate any help I can get.
