Last week I purchased a Himalayan Salt grinder from PnP V&A.
After I had removed the plastic cover last night, I proceed to turn the grinder over in order to grind salt onto my fresh fish.
The entire top fell off and all the salt fell into the pot.
I left two messages for Mr Laithwaite today - he never had the courtesy to respond.
On my third attempt I spoke to a trainee manager, Mr Dyer, who did try to help.
He informed me that Mr Laithwaite said it is my fault that the top was not on properly and he will not reimburse me for my fish (purchased at Woolworths) or the grinder.
May I suggest Pick 'n Pay take a leaf out of Woolworths' book regarding how to deal with customers and how to handle customers with respect NOT TO MENTION THEIR CUSTOM.
For your information, the reason I do not purchase my fish at Pick 'n Pay is because Pick 'n Pay often has fish for sale which is past its sell by date. I have complained about this on numerous occasions.
