Old ROTTEN chicken and fish sold at pick and pay

I went to pick and pay trade route mall lenasia and did some shopping
picked up some chicken and fish and when i got home i smelt something was not Wright and as i picked up the fish it was off or rotten BUT the date was in order as well as the chicken date was for the 13th jan and i got it the same day it was to expire THE SAME DAY so what did i have to do was throw out the fish and chicken

its not about money down the dustbin but how do we know that the meat and things are good till we open it

very unhappy with the meat product at PICK AND PAY
or is it i picked it so i paid even if it went into the bin that is collected on a wednesday and the fish is still in there making my yard stink
