After searching throughout the mall I finally found the salt and pepper grinder that I was looking for at @ Home. I bought it as a gift for my dad. Unfortunately it broke the first time we used it. I told my folks where I had purchased it and they must just go in and explain the situation. I had unfortunately thrown the slip away as I was not expecting it to break first time round.
My folks took the grinder in and explained to the sales person that it had been a gift and had unfortunately broken. She said she would not replace it as there is no proof that it hadn't been bought at the shop and could easily been bought at Pick n Pay. My folks were quite taken aback at been accused of lying.
I did indeed buy it at @ HOME. I had already been through Pick n Pay, Clicks and Woolies to name but a few in search of the grinder.
I was quite saddened at the attitude of the sales person and her insinuation that my folks were liars.
They took the grinder in near the end of January, I cannot be sure of the date.
