Terrible service at checkers hyper westgate mall

In 2009 I heard alert about checkers selling food that has passed sell-by date, I have witnessed this on their wors meat and milk. we spend about R4000-R6000 at checkers every month since 2007. we recently bought SCE heater at checkers and Goldair heater somewhere else at the same week. the SCE heater malfunctioned within 2 months.we spoke to David one of their managers, we did not have a slip but he offered to track the transaction and eventually exchanged heater, saying that he recognize us as their monthly regular clients. he was professional and understanding, hence we kept buying at checkers. unfortunately the second heater malfunctioned within 2 months. I also bought BBQ grill which malfunctioned within 2 months of use, having no time to find slip, I bought a new one, the only brand they had was OTTIMO. I came with 6 slips and the consultant did not identify items, the ink fades as early as 3months yet the warranty is 1year, I then identified the item to be exchanged on the slip, the named managers handled me very unprofessionaly, they ignored facts, hence I left the shop, leaving the heater and 2 BBQ grills, I think they are aware but ther keep ordering from these suppliers
