Went to the Checkers Hyper on Friday 25/01/2013 to get a few things I needed. I proceeded to buy a total of 3 items and went through the express tills close to the exit. Upon leaving the store I was stopped by the security guard and asked to present my till slip, which I gave her. Now I can understand if I walked out the shop with the items in my hand but the items were in a packet and yet it was insisted that I present a till slip. I left the shop and saw a couple after me with a child and they had two parcels and were not stopped and asked for their till slip. I found this strange as if they were stopping to check till slips why weren't the couple behind me stopped, not sure if it was a race issue but I feel if this is the way that customers are treated then I don't know. There needs to be fairness across the board and if the security were supposedly checking everyone's till slips then I guess they didn't do their job properly. I am not a and I was a mere 500 meters away from the door surely the security saw me paying for my goods, therefore I don't see the need to be stopped. If this is the treatment I get then I would rather not shop there. Bad Checkers!!
