I bought an Alva gas heater this time last year, it was a reduced item at the Retailer. The item was used for a maximum of two months. A could of weeks ago when the cold started settling in, we brought out our heater only to find that it would not work.
Today i decided to take it back and hear about this. Josph Quive was one of the people there (cannot say ti assist cause his attitude lacked customer courtesies). I no longer have receipts for the heater but all the barcode etc are still there. To my shock, i was then told that Reduced items cannot be returned as they are reduced because they are old stock the shop is tring to get rid of. I was further asked what did i explain ct when the items were not even boxed. I asked whether this was in the shops Return policy and Joseph was adamant it was and that the item would not be taken back. It been a while since ive experienced such gross disregard for a customer. We have done our monthly groceries at the Retailer for year, ignoring rumours of their dreadful customer service. Today i experienced it first hand. We waited for 15 minutes to get assistance, and it never came. Instead we got attitude & our loyalty to the store thrown at us.
