I bought a pair of Salomons shoes on Sunday 12 Jan 2014 and the very next day at the gym running on the treadmill I noticed that the shoe got a rip on the side as big as an R5 coin. I definitely did not abuse the shoes at all and was very surprised what happened.
I took the shoes back to Cape Union Mart Woodlands the very next day after I bought it where I showed it to Schalk, he was very arrogant and said I abused the shoes and stick something through it. You can clearly see it was and defect. He said I must contact Salomons to get this resolved or they can send the shoes toe them which can take 2-3 months to get replaced.
I was very irritated by his bad attitude and service, I took the shoes to the Cape Union Mart Atterbury branch where the replaced it right there and then. Very good customer service from Cape Union Mart Atterbury!!!
