I purchased some trail running shoes from Cape Union Mart Cavendish Square on 28 December 2012. One of the shoes quickly developed a loud squeak when used. I took the shoes back on 6 February 2013 after having hardly used them because of the fault. I was told that they would not replace them but that they would have them repaired.
The manager promised a 4 to 6 week turn around on the repair. It has now (today is 24 April 2013) been 11 weeks since I returned the shoes. I have phoned several times asking about the shoes and even made a special visit to the store to enquire where the shoes are. The purported manager is never available to talk to me and no one ever phones me back to tell me where my shoes are.
Cape Union Mart should replace this pair of shoes for me at the very least and they should deliver them to me during the course of this week.
