I am lodging this complaint on behalf of H.J Harmse, On Tuesday 7-Jan-2014 I went to Edgars in Sasolburg to make a purchase, I was told that I can not buy on my account as it needs to be FICA, I did this in-store with a very unwilling cashier, I was informed that it will take 2 days after the relevant documentation was faxed.

On Friday 10-Jan-2014 I phoned Customer Care on 0860112442 to hear if my account was now verified, I was informed that the copy of my ID was not very clear and that I had to only re-send the ID and then have the store phone the call centre and my account will be verified and I would be able to purchase again WITHOUT having to wait 2 days again, I did this on Saturday 11-Jan-2014 and was assisted by Noza Mayoyo at the Vaal Mall Vanderbijlpark branch, we even spoke to a consultant at customer care who said I can now buy on my account again.

On Sunday 12-Jan-2014, I wanted to make a purchase and was informed that STILL my account was not FICA'ed and a e-mail takes 2 days to arrive what a joke since when?

I feel I got no joy and no help what so ever from the people involved as every one is doing you a huge favour in assisting you. Need this solved!!!
