I am very puzzled and disgusted that a big company such as Foschini treats its employees this way.
You can not employ a person and not pay them for 2 months regardless if they temp or perm.
How do you expect that person to come to work.
As the store does not have a manager the person in charge should be the helping pillar but all she can say she doesn't know what to do but the person is expected to come to work every day.
The person borrowed money from people to come to work and for 2 months he had to watch people get paid and be told that head office is looking into it.
Kids must go to school now and how is he suppose to pay for the uniforms and school fees.
Funny how they would call to instruct him come to work on his off day because they short stuffed but still not pay him.
Since there is no manager in the store there is no one to seek help from, now his life is being threatened by those he owes.
I really do not know which options are available now.
