A week ago i went into malvern checkers to cash a moneygram. We had been robbed and i only had a drivers license as my id was taken. A floor manager kindly assisted us. Today i went in with the same license to cash another one and was rudely told by the branch manager ()an indian female) absolutely not. When i explained that i had been robbed and needed this money to feed my three kids tonight i was told that shes not interested she willnot cash the moneygram. I was also informed if i dont like it, complain to head office. I had toborrow money to feed my children. I shop there every single day. Iinformed her that that was the last time i would step into her store and was told great. Surely one person who spends between five and nine thousand a month in the store is needed. Is this how they treat their customers? it is not the first timei have had a problem in this store with rude staff. It is my last though. I will no longer support Any checkers stores from now on. Pick n pay staff are much friendlier, polite and helpful... hopefully other people will wake up too. I amalso posting this on facebook. Rudeness is not to be tolerated in any form.
