Our family recently just purchased a tv unit and dvd home theatre system for our house on the 02/01/2014, they promised it would be delivered within 72 hours from purchased. When we phoned the branch on sunday and it was told it would be delivered on the monday but nothing was delivered. I phoned house n home today and and did a follow up on delivery. We were promised today that it would be delivered by 3 pm, i phoned at 2 pm and they said everything got dispatched.By 5pm nothing was delivered, then i phoned the store again and their reply was that they were on their way. When they finally pitched up the tv unit was badly scrapped. To my dissatisfaction i asked them to return it.
Firstly - they don't liase with customers to keep them informed whats going on according delivery expectations
Secondly - i would'nt recommend anyone to shop at house n home n1 city due to the lack of service delivery.
Thirdly - I'm a manager of a store and i would'nt allow this to happen period...
