I purchased the Fridge from The Home Inn, Port Alfred on 27 Aug 2009. It never worked properly and it was collected from me by The Home Inn and repaired by KIC. At the time I was told it had been regassed.By Dec 2011 it had stopped working agan. The repairs cost me R700-00 and I was told by the Refrigeration Technician that it seemed to have an internal leak and it would continue to break down with the break downs becoming more and more frequent until it stopped working altogether. In Dec 2012 it stopped working again. I called in the KIC technician and he said that he felt the fridge was faulty and that he would recommend that KIC should replace it as it should have been replaced the first time it broke down. KIC service Dept have now told me that they will repair the fridge at a cost to me of R700-00 and they will give me a 3 month gaurantee. I am not satisfied with this offer. How do I speak to someone about this problem and how do I go about getting copies of the original job card in Sept 2009 and the current fault report. KIC will not give me the copies.
