CLICKS PHARMACY - NEGATIVE RESPONSE

On Christmas morning, 25/12/2013, I had to rush with my 4 year old boy to the doctor in Beaufort West due to tonsillitis infection. He had a very high fever, nausea and complained his head hurt. The doctor was very nice to us and helped us very nicely.

However, I do realize it was Christmas morning, but a child doesn't ask when to be sick. We had to get antibiotics at a pharmacy. At last we called the EMERGENCY NUMBER that was displayed on the Clicks Pharmacy door. The person who answered was not keen at all to come and open up the pharmacy so I can get the antibiotics, fever medicine and nausea medicine for my son. She just refused and said we must wait until the next morning.

I don't understand why there is an emergency number on the door if the just plain refuse to come open up if help is needed. This was really very bad service. The next morning I went to fetch the medicines, and the attitude of the pharmacist wasn't very good at all.

I strongly suggest that Clicks Head Office either remove EMERGENCY NUMBER from their doors as it is no use at all, or let the pharmacists / pharmacist assistants come and assist clients who need medicines.
