Today I encountered appalling service at Clicks Westville Mall.
After a painful dental procedure, I drove straight to the Westville Mall only to fill a script for antibiotics from the dentist.
My entry card for the parking garage says I entered the property at 15h40.
I proceeded straight to Clicks to be greeted by a long queue.
After waiting for a significant amount of time it was revealed that the Pharmacist was AWOL and could not be located. The pharmacy assistants were most embarrassed and apologetic, as once they had filled out the scripts for the first two people in the queue (there were 2 assistants) no further work could be done, as the Pharmacist was not there to sign off the prescriptions.
I waited until 16h25 and still the pharmacist had not reappeared.
People were walking out of the shop in disgust.
I had to then travel to another Pharmacy and because it was a smaller pharmacy, had to pay R51.55 in levy.
I was most disgusted. I was in pain and needed to get home to rest with the appropriate medication instead of standing in a non functional queue for 40 minutes at least., because nobody could find the pharmacist who was on duty.
