Months ago I found two cockroaches in the meat fridges. I complained and it took numerous followups to get attention. Several days ago i received shocking service from a member of their management team. I complained to acting store manager Jaco who was great. He told me store manager Hansie was returning from leave following day and would call me. Approx 4 days have passed and nobody has. I tried calling store now, a man answered saying Hello. I asked him where I was. He responded saying Shoprite Sandton. I asked him why he answers a company phone as though its his private line. He says the switchboard lady must have put the calls through to him in control. He says he cant transfer me to store manager and i must go through to customer service. From there i was put through to Charmaine who said Hansie has left. I asked her to call him please and to give him my cell no to call me back as Im highly annoyed by now. Needless to say nobody has called me right back, not even Charmaine who said she would. I bet that by the time your head office reads this hellopeter complaint, nobody would have bothered to have called me. Very disappointing service. This store is the pitts!
