I purchased a cellphone BLACKBERRY 9320 for my daughter at American Swiss in Parys and the sales assistant never read the financial services part on insurance she just decided on my behalf that i didn't need and included this on the agreement. I hadn't check the agreement as I've been a loyal customer to The Group for over 20years and trusted that my account had an insurance. It happened that my daughter got mugged 15 days after the purchase and upon enquiry regarding claims on the insurance for a new cell phone at the store I was then made aware that there was no insurance covering losing the phone. I'm devasted as I trusted such a huge organisation will put their customers first. I couldn't get a new phone and the branch Manager Ntsiki said there was nothing she could do thou the sales assistant agreed it was a mistake from her side to NO for the insurance option. I would highly appreciate assistant on this matter as the foschini Group has been loyal to me all this years. I'm so disappointed on how the whole matter was handled the branch manager being inconsiderate of the fact that i have been a customer for long and that the phone was hardly 15 days purchased from the store.
