2 months ago we visited this store to look at leather couches. On 28/12/2013 we returned to make the purchase. The first thing we were told is that they are out of stock and prices are going up. We viewed the couches. The original price, 2 months ago was R9750, on viewing, the price was R10650 which is more or less a 9.2% increase. No sign of "sold out" was seen. We decided on these couches and ordered 2. Processing the invoicing they said the price is now R14325, just under a 35% increase. I was shocked and declined the offer. On the 30th of December I returned and reminded them of the CPA, which states that the lesser price displayed on the couch should be given to the customer regardless of stock availability. No employee in the shop had an idea of this, neither did they have the authority to process the request. They needed to phone Armand du Preez, after much debate amongst staff on who should call, I was told they would phone him. There was also blaming among the staff on who should have changed the prices. The R10650 price then disappeared off the floor. After 4pm I received a call and the answer was, NO! This was sad to see as large retailers like Pick & Pay honor this rule
