My mom bought a cell phone for my sister and took insurance with American Swiss, my sisters phone was at gun point in PTA, she opened a case and made an affidavid with the case no that she took with to American swiss bethal for a claim, the lady who was assisting didnt seem to know what she was doing, she told my sister the affidavid is old, she must make a new one where she and make the incident sound recent for the insurance to approve, I refused for her to go under oath and and the American swiss lady didnt seem so pleased with my decision to refuse to lie, she kept saying there's no point in claiming as they will not entertain the affidavid we provided as its not recent. She filled in the form and had loss as a reason for claim, I had to be the one to clarify this is not loss, only when we were on our way out she remembered to fill in the lost phone number and request reference from the service provider. I still gave her the benefit of a doubt, its been 8 days and havent heard from American swiss when I called I was placed on hold for 5 mins then told to call back later as they are busy with other customers. I just wanna know the status of the claim.
