Unfortunately this is not the first encounter i have had with this branch, but as it is the closest to my home I find myself reverting to this branch with unfortunate regularity.
Visited the branch yesterday to purchase some goods, and have a key cut. The floor sales team are NEVER available, and almost seem trained in customer avoidance. Took me over 8 minutes to flag one down, trying in vain to have a key cut. He muttered something to a colleague and walked off. After a further 5 minutes, i went to the helpdesk, and asked for someone to be called to assist.
After a further 3 minutes, a gentleman arrived, took one look at my key, and told me he could not help. When asking why, he informed me the machine had not been maintained, and thus could not cut through the keysize i required?
How does a national franchise not maintain their own equipment? More so, why is a note/sign/anything put in place to avoid consumers waiting needlessly for a service you cannot offer, especially considering your floor staff are never where they need to be.
Will rather drive to BW Strubensvalley from now on, they are nothing but helpful, well stocked and willing to go the extra mile...
