I was at Builders Express today to cut hardboard. I had to wait quite a few minutes before someone was called to help me. This is not the first time this happened. I am lucky the day that I don't have to stand around and wait before someone becomes available to help me. When I got to the counter to pay, the code written down for the cashier to ring up, was wrong, and I had to wait another few minutes, while other customers were helped before me, before I could pay. Also, as for advice and helping me choose what I need, I would rather help myself, because the guys on the floor know less about hardware than I do, and I am a woman. Then I went to another hardware place and saw that the paint that wasn't at Builders Express (and the guy at Builders helping me didn't even ask if he could order some for me) was R50 cheaper. I don't even know why I go to Builders Express anymore or why I expect anything else than bad service. What would it take just to get good service for a change? I give up on Builders Express. From now on I will go to another hardware store and I will discourage anyone (verbally and on social networks) from making use of Builders Express. Shame on you!
