I went into the Westville branch today and bought 6 gloss gift bags that I needed for church.
I went to the till and the cashier rang up the 4 blue ones and then said that he cant ring up the 2 silver ones but would manually add the money on, so I duly gave him a R100 and got a till slip that said change R60 and then he gave me R40 back.
I advised that I need a slip for R60 as that is what I spent but it went on deaf ears.
I am not making any allegations but I just got the impression that the R20 was not going into the till. so my problem is, I still require a slip to say that I bought 6 gift bags so I can claim all money back as why should I be out of pocket because the cashier says he cant ring up certain items???
