Online shopping service disgusting

I placed an order online on Thursday evening for a few items. I received a call this afternoon (delivery scheduled for tomorrow morning) to let me know that the boot I ordered is out of stock. I asked why it did not show online that it was out of stock and the assistant said she does not know. I then asked her if its out of stock throughout the country, so she replied that the clothing items are sourced from ONE store only Cavendish. I was horrified to hear this. I asked her to source it from another store but she said she could not. I then asked her to check the system to see which other store has the boot in my size and to call me back. She called a while later to say that no other store has the size at which point I requested my complete order to be cancelled.

Please explain to me how a company the size and with the brand Woolworths has such a useless online shopping site! How can items like clothing be sourced from only ONE store when the company has stores nationwide??? I recently shopped online at Mr Price and their clothing is sourced from a central distribution warehouse in Durban, so they managed to get me a size that i wanted and their delivery cost was cheaper!! What
