A few weeks ago I purchased an item cash from foschini gateway for my wife, the item was not suitable so I therefore went to the store for a credit note as I could not ask for a refund. I did not see the importance of keeping the docket as the store had assisted me in the past with a similar issue, the supervisor Jessica declined my request. Keshnee the manager was not helpful and could not analyse my situation and make a managerial decision to assist me and kept on using the company policies as a shield to protect herself and not the interest of me the customer. The item I wanted a credit note for was a foschini item for R360 and my wife took items on that day for R1850 and I would have paid the difference in cash, Keshnee still refused to assist me. I left the store not purchasing any items and really disappointed with the service received, a few days later I sent my complain via email to foschini head office. A few days later which was the 10th of December I received a response from Sade stating that the area/regional manager will contact me, till to date am still waiting for a response. It is sad to experience service from a company that portrays an image of high standards
