Gateway Foschini - Appalling service

Gateway Foschini is by far the worse shop and the customer service beyond appalling. When you need a sales assistant there are none, and when you reach the cashiers there so many people aimlessly standing and discussing their gifts as opposed to helping customers. "the price you see is what you pay for! " I saw a top on sale and wanted it at that price, when I got to pay for the item I was told by the 2 managers on Saturday (28/12/2013) it was incorrectly marked and I was unable to purchase the item at the marked price. Now to add to that, the management on that day was slow and very rude. What kind of customer service is this? I was also told that the regional Keshnee Kisten also agreed with the manager that I cannot purchase the item. We waited for so long in the store to get assistance on just one query... I would hate to think if we had a difficult query what would happen. If there are mistakes on items that are marked sale... why should this effect the customer.
