A month ago I phoned to find out the settling amount for a computer I bought on account about 2 years ago. When tying to settle my account at the Centurion branch, I was told that the amount was different. I disputed this but because I couldn't remember the lady I spoke to's name, I had to pay the amount given by the branch. Gibson (the guy who assisted me) then phoned me back an hour later and confirmed that I was correct and that he made a mistake on his side. He then promised that he would fix the issue. At the end of the month I was billed and immediately phone Gibson who told me that I had to take him bank statements to proof that I have settled my account. I wasn't happy with this and said that he had to sort it out because it was his mistake. Weeks passed and after giving up on Gibson sorting it out for me, I got my statements and handed it to Gibson. He then went back to his old story of saying that the amount he told me to pay was correct and he just owed me the R755 which was deducted from my account. I was done fighting and just wanted my money back but was then told that they had no cash to pay me. A week later Gibson is on leave and Thuli (manager) also can't help me.
