INCORRECT INFORMATION

I was selling Justine few year back and there was money that i didnt pay on myaccount, so some time last month if not April i gave them a call beacause i wanted to settle the ammount and clear my name, the lady I spoke to told me how much was outstanding and she gave me the account number together with the ref no number to pay the amount of R207.20 and I paid it yestreday. This morning I gave them a call because I wanted to fax the proof of payment, the guy I spoke to told my account was handed over and I need to phone the lawyers because I had/have to pay my account to the lawyers, I phoned them and they asked me to fax proof of payment and i did they told me it was paid to the wrong account I have to pay it at ABSA and not FNB.If the lady I spoke to the first time, if she would have given me the correct account number I would've paid to the correct acc. It is so unfair because she told me I owed them R207.20 and she didnt mention any other money. I phoned justine again and asked them whats really happening and I was transfered to the credit control and I was kept on hold for few minutes.
