PICK A PAY IS MISSLEADING CONSUMERS

This is the festive season, you shop around for the best price and gift for your children. Last week I went to Pick a Pay family Suppermarket in Maccowen str Vdbp and saw a Planatarium system there with a special tag under it for R169.00. I told my husband about it and did further shopping around When we went back 3 days later the item was still on sale same place with at least 4 to 5 items on the shelf behind the special sticker on the top shelf. When we got to the paypoint we were told that the item is R319. We took the floor manager to the place and showed her the problem she took out the prices and went to the lady that stood in for the manager that would return at 4 o clock. We explained to her that it is not as if the product was put there wrongly by a client as we were there more than 3 days before and the product was on display as a special. she then informed us that the barcodes differ. I told her that she has to take in to account that it was on the top shelf and that client short as me cant see the small print. and that we all work on the special price. she agreed and said the mananger will phone us back. Took our info and we are still waiting that was 3 days ago!
