On Sunday 13th January while shopping, I noticed a special on xmas mince pies, when I got to the checkout the cashier told me that they weren't on special according to the bar code price that came up. after telling her that I no longer wanted them she called the supervisor to credit the transaction, so I told her that she should take the "specials" price off the shelf as it's misleading. she asked me to accompany her to the shelf where I found them and then called the bakery manager. After waiting a good ten minutes for Ricky to arrive he informed me that "someone was supposed to take the specials price off the shelf but had not done so! "
I told him that was false advertising and he had wasted my time.
I'd just like to know what happened to honouring the agreement of incorrect pricing on the shelf? it really isnt the customer's fault that someone had neglected to remove a price!!!
So much for "customer service! "
