Dion Wired will not honour Supplier Warranty

I went into the Dion Wired at the Centurion Lifestyle Centre to exchange my Targus bag. Targus offers a lifetime guarantee on their bags and when I spoke the Targus rep, he informed me that I could take the bag in to any Targus stockist. When I got to Dion Wired, the customer service lady called Targus. Targus authorized the exchange. She then went to the Sales Manager for authorization. He first asked her to confirm that the bag they had in stock was the same one that I took in. She contacted Targus again to verify this and again, Targus confirmed it. She went back to Ruaan for authorization, but he refused citing that he needed paperwork. He also insisted that he could not exchange the bag without proof of purchase from Dion Wired. He said that if the bag was not purchased from Dion Wired, he could not exchange it as Dion Wired had certain procedures. This directly contradicts what Targus states when one purchases a Targus bag. He told us that he spoke to the admin manager and the branch manager and they echoed that Dion Wired paperwork was required. So, in essence, Dion Wired will not honour the supplier's warranty even though the supplier authorizes it.
