Woolworths
Misrepresentation

08/12/13 I visited Woolworths, Glen Gary after to receiving a text message informing me that I have a R50 discount voucher. I spent more than R300 to qualify for the R50 voucher. I was informed that the voucher was invalid and that this was a recurring incident. The store informed me that they would contact the Woolworths call centre and inform them of the incident and the call centre will send me a new voucher number. To date I have not received any call!
09/12/13 I went to Woolworths, Canal Walk to return a Trenery trouser I bought a week, 2 or 3 ago. I was unable to locate the receipt but thought it would be ok as the tag was still attached and I have returned items on the same bases before. I was informed that I was too late to return a sale item even though we could not establish when the sale was made.
1. It would appear that I was lured to a Woolworths store and then conned with a R50 fictitious voucher.
2. I was not informed that I had limited time to return the item because Woolworths needed to return all non sold sale items to Trenery, Australia.
This is a clear misrepresentation in both instances.
Woolworths are yet to respond to my complaint on their website.
