I bought a R6000 tent from outdoor warehouse on 30/11/13. planning to go camping this longweekend, i thought it wise just to try out the set-up of my new tent before departing on friday. what a shock! firstly i couldn't find the instruction booklet, then i found the poles to be scratched, bend and screws of the hinges on the poles loose. then the unit at the top of the tent, holding all 4 poles together, had a missing nut and bolt. once the tent was standing i found old dry grass on the inside, and all the windows and doors already zipped open and fastened very untidily. next i found the gazebo fitting onto the front of the tent had a broken pole, with the broken-off end of the pole neatly placed in the bag for the tent pens. also the promised ground sheet is still to be found, and there is fat marks seen on the outside of the "new" tent. the best was when i found an old broken elastic band inside the tent bag, obviously not part the tent which i bought.
as things stand, i live in george, and leave for my long planned and booked far in advance camping weekend at stormsriver in two days, WITHOUT A TENT!!! i hope you can fix this mistake ASAP, before friday morning!!!
