I bought a camp master dome tent almost a year ago. Since then, I have only used it once in April 2012 and then again for the second time in March 2013.
We assembled the tent and everything was fine, but after a while both the tent poles snapped and broke right on top where they cross each other which in turn resulted that the tent tore as well when the poles released.
I went to Makro where I originally bought the tent, thinking (foolishly) that they were going to replace the tent seeing that it was still under it one year guarantee... Ha, what a fool I was cause apparently Camp Master's one year guarantee does not cover pole breakages nor any tears in their products, but isn't that the complete tent then? What does it cover then? Manufacturing faults? But isn't the fact that my poles broke in less than a year where we have only actually used it once a factory fault then?
I am really not happy with the response and assistance from Camp Master's side. All my camping gear is from Camp Master but I will seriously think twice before (if I will ever again) buy something from this manufacturer. And I will recommend the same to anyone who ever asks about the quality.
