We went camping this December in Paarl and when we came back to our tent after a day out, we opened the front zip and the whole ground floor had been ripped open along a seam. The front flap which hooks onto two poles also had the round hooks torn off. This is a 5 man Bush Baby tent and was purchased about 4 months ago from Checkers. For a tent which should endure all kinds of weather (we not going to Alaska or anywhere), this should at least have withstood a little bit of wind which we had on that day. We don't have the slips so cannot even take it back to complain. The tent is still on display at Checkers in Parklands. When we spend about a R1000 on a tent, you don't expect it to last half a camping trip which is totally not acceptable.
