I don't normally shop at food lovers market due to their fruit and veggies not being fresh. But last week Wednesday I was in a hurry and had no other option. I picked up some strawberries that looked red and fresh but when I got home and took some out for my daughter to eat, all the ones underneath were all mouldy and slimy. I have a habit of always checking expiry dates on everything I buy, the mushrooms were a week past it's expiry date! Garlic man calamata olives expired on the 01/11/13 and was still on the shelve. Rocket was all slimy and had already gone yellow by the next day. When I spoke to the staff, they did nothing, she walked away leaving all on the shelve. This is not my first experience on this matter, I rather spend that extra money and shop elsewhere knowing I am not getting fruit and veggies that are past their expiry dates. And this is also the reason why I will never be eating at the restaurant coz I know all the expired veggies are been recycled.
