I-Play Wall Racer not as advertised

My son bought a Wall Racer on Sunday afternoon only to find that this car slides down the wall when riding and falls from the ceiling which will ultimately result in damage. The battery was fully charged as per instructions given and the problem therefore was with the quality of the toy. This item was returned immediately on Monday (the next day) for a refund, as I found after speaking to others who bought the product that they experienced the same problems. At the store I was informed that I must contact customer care to advise branch whether they can give me a refund. Isaac (Customer Care manager) first claimed that Consumer Protection Act does not cover toys, although he couldn't point out where in act this was. Yet they have a notice in store stating that ALL goods have a 15 day money back guarantee. It is 5 days since I bought the product and I am still waiting for his feedback after speaking to managers to see "what he can do for me". The next excuse will clearly be that the time period has passed for any refund. Deeply disappointed that there are still companies that can get away with this type of behavior.
