Andre Visser of Build-a-Wall erected a plastered "Vibraneat" wall on my corner property, giving me a two-year guarantee on the plaster work. The wall was 'completed' 4 months ago and the plaster is cracking, pieces of the pillars are falling off and the recent rain has eroded away much of the plaster, which consists of mostly sand. The foundation of the wall is also visible above the ground. In short, the wall looks as though it has been there for 40 years. Nobody else is prepared to repair the wall and give a guarantee.
I have sent him communication recently with photographs, but he has not responded. He previously told me that the wall cracked because I installed a (pedestrian) gate there. It seems that one is unable to erect gates on walls constructed by his company. It is quite clear that his guarantee ultimately means nothing.
Passers by stop and ask me who built the wall as the workmanship is that shocking. I would definitely not recommend Build-a-Wall to anyone wishing to erect a wall.
