Bought some car seat covers in September. Chucked receipt. They came apart at the seams. Wrote to Makro through their website asking if there was a chance I could get refund / exchange or whatever. Had a call the next day from Wendy to say they have a set in stock and i can exchange. Went in today and the refund team dealt with it all very efficiently, they made sure that the replacement set would be charged at the old price (they had increased in price since I bought in September). All i had to do was hang around for 15 minutes while the system registered the new price attached to my Makro card. Went to the tills, charming lady and cashier attended to me and away I went.
Well done Wendy, the refund team and Makro. Other companies could learn from your team and the training you obviously give them.
I asked for, and was introduced to Wendy, so that I had the opportunity to personally thank her for SERVICE EXCELLENCE. And it was all with a smile and "No trouble Sir".
